Nils Harmening is a doctoral researcher in the Intelligent Biomedical Sensing (IBS) research group at TU Berlin’s Machine Learning department and BIFOLD and the neurotechnology group at TU Berlin. He received his master’s degree in Physics at Freie Universität Berlin in 2017 with a focus on nonlinear dynamics, biophysics and climate science. Since 2019 he is working on enhancing human head models for EEG and fNIRS data analysis and image reconstruction improvement.
Recent projects are the Head Artefact Modeling using Tripoles (HArtMuT), individualisation of head models using Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) and Photogrammetry, and fast stroke detection using EIT.
