I’ve been researching and teaching at this chair since late 2019. I’m mainly interested in generative models and any problems where I can apply them. This has led me to lattice field theory, where we can employ Normalizing Flows to get unbiased estimators of thermodynamic observables. I’ve been working on improving the state of the art models for lattice field problems, e.g. with our work on trivializing gradient flows and on efficient path gradients for NFs.
