Nice to meet you! I am Alex and I am currently a PhD student in Machine Learning at the Berlin Institute for the Foundations of Learning and Data (BIFOLD). I hold a Master’s in Applied Mathematics with a focus on statistics from TU Delft. During my degree, I had the great opportunity to spend a year at ETH Zürich where I conducted research on Bayesian Neural Networks and Self-Supervised Learning methods.

Alongside my PhD, I work at Aignostics Gmbh as member of the Foundation Model team. The team creates best-in-class self-supervised computer vision models for applications in cancer research. If your interested in any of the work I am doing, just reach out!
